Lejla Ramovic is the Founder and director of Business and Education Network, which she founded in 2012. Born in Sarajevo, Lejla grew up in Amsterdam and a passionate commitment to human rights is the common thread throughout her studies and career. On a fundamental level she is driven by sense of injustice and willingness to change it for the better and fight for the survivors of conflict-related sexual violence. Lejla read law at the University of Amsterdam, after which she completed Graduate Diploma in Law, in the UK. Over the years she worked and undertook several internships at different law firms and the ICTY.

Her friends would describe her as driven, passionate, witty, curious, adventurous, compassionate, lively, idealistic, imaginative and probably add a bit stubborn, impatient, bloody honest and an eternal optimist.
